ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW was a film from this year’s Sundance film festival that shocked many, not due to graphic content, but due to the story that the film was shot within the confines of Disneyland in California without the Walt Disney Company’s knowledge or permission. The film now has a release date in the US, though sadly not in the UK as yet, debuting for domestic audiences on VOD on 11th October.
The movie, directed by Randy Moore, centers on a man (Roy Abramsohn) who, on a family day out at the famous Disneyland resort, finds out that he has been fired from his job. What follows is the character’s decent into darkness and a very difference experience of the park that millions of fans all over the world know and love.
