With the Toronto International Film Festival in full swing, we’ll be getting lots of updates about some heavy hitters, and some of the littler releases coming your way. One such release will be one of the Midnight Madness films at the festival, AFFLICTED. The debut feature from duo Clif Prowse and Derek Lee follows two friends on a world travelling journey, when suddenly one of them is struck down by an affliction. I guess you could say they become AFFLICTED. Which may very well be where Prowse and Lee got their title from.
The poster is unsettling, as it blends a map with a brain tumour. Prowse and Lee not only direct, but they also write and star as two characters called Clif and Derek. Fingers crossed we have a small star among the bigger films at the festival.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
