The superhero market is currently completely saturated, and dominated by men. This is something that Marvel are working hard to change. Recently Louis D’Esposito, the head director of the company, stated that they were working on putting out a new superhero film with a female at the helm. The character that he discussed during this talk was none other than Captain Marvel herself.
Adding some fuel to the fire, RIDDICK star Katee Sackhoff has hinted that she is in talks for the role. Best known for playing Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica Sackhoff has been doing the promotion rounds recently. Whilst speaking on the Schmoes Know podcast she revealed that “there’s been some stuff going on” and “a lot of checking of availability for the first quarter of next year“.
So what do you guys think, is the world ready for a female superhero to take centre stage? Is Katee Sackhoff who you’d cast? Let us know!

they tried this attempt back in 1984
with supergirl that starred helen slater
and faye dunnaway but it failed to reach
an audience that recieved bad press reviews
and poor box office takings but is there
enough action heroine movies out there
with out turning to comic books it will
end up being far to many of the superherione
movies just like all the fan ones that has being over used
on youtube where superheroines get hypnotised
but a foray of superheroine movies is not gonna take
with fan boys but a xena warrior princess movie would
be grande have megan fox as xena and jeniffer stone
as gabriel great idea.
