TIFF 2013: First Teaser Trailer & Poster For Aaron Wilson’s ‘Canopy’

The Toronto International Film Festival has been up and running since Thursday 5th September and closes on the 15th, so if you’re over that way you’ve definitely got time to watch some new titles. With that in mind, we’re a little intrigued by this simple premise with this directorial debut feature from Aaron Wilson and his WWII survival drama CANOPY, that premieres today.

It looks visually stunning with camera work from Stefan Duscio and centers on the journey of two men from different cultural and language backgrounds trying to survive the jungle of Southeast Asia in 1942 wartime. After Australian fighter pilot Jim (Khan Chittenden) crashes there, will he able to team up with Seng (Tzu-yi Mo) to survive under extreme circumstances?
