TIFF 2013: Powerful Trailer For ‘Morning’ Revealed

With the Toronto Film Festival now in full swing we are seeing teasers, posters and trailers released left right and centre.  The latest trailer to catch our attention here at THN is for Leland Orser’s directorial feature debut MORNING, based on his short film by the same name.  The film covers five days in the lives of an American couple dealing with the accidental death of their child.  Leland also stars as Mark, one half of the grieving couple, alongside Jeanne Tripplehorn as his wife.  The film was shot in 2010 and screened at a couple of festivals before being picked up for release earlier this year at Sundance.

The trailer gives us an insight at what to expect from the movie; a dark look at how individuals cope with tragedy in their lives.  The couple seem unable to give each other the support their require and instead start looking at alternative ways to release their grief. Anger, confusion and infidelity are all featured in the brooding preview.

MORNING stars Jeanne Tripplehorn, Jason Ritter, Kyle Chandler, Leland Orser, Laura Linney, Elliot Gould, Julie White and Charlie McDermott. Check out the trailer below.
