Another day, another international poster for THOR: THE DARK WORLD. It seems Marvel is pulling out all the stops for their THOR sequel and today they have released this gorgeous new character poster for the fiendish Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston.
It is fitting Loki receives his own character poster as Hiddleston recently revealed that the re-shoots that took place for the film were to give the character more screen time. It will be interesting to see how the character has changed since AVENGERS ASSEMBLE and if he seeks redemption in the wake of his attack on New York or further destruction.
The film’s plot will see Thor turn to Loki for help when an unknown enemy, the vengeful Malekith and his evil army, threaten the entire nine realms and plan to plunge the universe back into darkness. Thor will be reunited with Jane Foster and also joined by the Warriors Three and Heimdall in an epic adventure that will threaten the very fabric of reality.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins and will be released 30th October over here in the UK.
