After making $585 million worldwide, it’s no surprise that THE CROODS is getting a sequel. However, just because we’re returning to the same characters doesn’t necessarily mean the whole cast will return.
Saying that, it’s been confirmed that Ryan Reynolds, Nicolas Cage and Emma Stone will all be reprising their roles for the DreamWorks hit. Director Chris Sanders has said:
“There’s not much to talk about yet because we’ve got a big lump of clay and we’re forming it as we speak”.
Co-director Kirk DeMicco added:
“There will be lots of good creatures. We’ve got creatures that never got into the first movie. We’re going to take a very, very close look at those”.
