Once again we’re left with more questions than answers in the run up to a shady Abrams project, but this time however, we know at least that it’s a book and its called S. According to EW, the novel conceived by Abrams and Penned by Doug Dorst, centers on the relationship of college students Eric and Jennifer who exchange notes in the margin of a fictional 1949 novel written by mysterious writer V. M. Stratka.
The project is a novel within a novel, J.J’s not afraid to dream a little bigger darling and the pairs conversation on the pages of the book delves them deeper into the mystery and the danger. It looks to be a twisty-turny adventure thats in keeping with the themes of Abrams other work. Speaking on the upcoming novel Abrams told EW:
“It is difficult to describe because while it is a compelling mystery and love story, it is also much more than that. The work that everyone has done on S. is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Frankly, I’m amazed it was even possible to do this project at all.”
