Metallica have been a staple in the metal rock diet for as long as I can recall, their stupendous sounds used to echo through my older siblings walls and eventually found their way into my eclectic collection, and quite right to. Today, we’re sharing the mighty-looking trailer for METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER.
In this, award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal creates a groundbreaking 3-D motion picture event with a music-driven feature film that’s set to combine a bold narrative and spectacular live-performance footage of one of the most popular and influential rock bands in history.
Emerging young star Dane DeHaan (THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES, CHRONICLE) portrays a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set which serves as the story against a never-before-seen performance created exclusively for the film. Check out the trailer below and some stunning stills:
METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER is released in IMAX on September 27th in the USA and October 4th.
