Poster & Fundraising Video For Fascinating Experiment ‘Children Of Salt’

Here’s the poster for a little indie gem coming up, titled CHILDREN OF SALT. The film, directed by Caleb Andrew Ward, is such an independent film that it is yet to receive an IMDb listing and is currently fundraising. The fundraising video for this exciting project can be found below. The film follows the tumultuous relationship between a man and a woman, which may not sound fascinating at first, but Ward explains how this film will recreate triptych art.

Many may recognise triptych art as the form of art in which a singular painting is broken down into three frames. Ward has emulated this in his film by having three screens, where the centre screen will show the man and the woman together, the left screen will show the woman, and the right screen will show the man. Ward is currently hoping to raise funds in order to take the film to festivals and help with post-production and marketing.

I love when a film tries something truly different no matter what the outcome. The idea of applying triptych art to cinema is a bold and intriguing decision. Hopefully it will gain a lot of momentum and appear worldwide soon.

CHILDREN OF SALT stars Ashleigh Lineberry and Jacob Keohane.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
