Count Thy Kills: Looking Back At The Best Of ‘Dexter’ Featurette!

This Sunday sees the final ever episode of Showtime’s serial-killer series DEXTER air in the US. The show comes to an end after an epic eight season run in which the superb Michael C. Hall become a household name as Miami Metro blood-spatter analyst and forensic specialist Dexter Morgan. A handsome, likeable and hardworking man moonlighting as a ferocious mass-murderer with an unstoppable urge. A psychopath with a code: only killing other killers!

Throughout these eight seasons, the show based on Jeff Lindsay’s best-selling book series has had its peaks and troughs. In all honesty it should have ended two seasons ago when Hall wanted to bow out but the charismatic character hiding behind a mask of sanity has been such a firm fan favourite, it’s been hard for them and cast to let go.

So, DEXTER fans. As we’re left to wonder if there is plastic sheets in his own future for just one-more week, feast on this awesome retrospective featurette looking the Dark Defender’s best kills!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
