Furious French Trailer For ‘Snowpiercer’

The Weinstein Company has left us twiddling our thumbs in regards to Bong Joon Ho’s English language debut, SNOWPIERCER. With news of 20 minutes being cut from the film, my excitement levels have dropped considerably. Not only that, but without a US or UK release date even announced, it’s a film that is going to be easier to import from international territories, rather than waiting for it on the big screen.

This latest trailer is for the French release, and since the film is based on a French graphic novel, we can but hope it is as big a hit there as it was in Bong’s homeland of South Korea. The trailer is much clearer in terms of plot, and gives a greater sense of what it is the passengers from the tail are fighting for.

SNOWPIERCER still doesn’t have a release date for UK or US cinemas. It stars Chris Evans, Song Kang Ho, Ed Harris, Tilda Swinton, Allison Pill, Octavia Spender, Jamie Bell, Ewen Bremner, and John Hurt.
