I pretty much love all of Alexander Payne’s work so far, he’s given us the likes of ELECTION, SIDEWAYS, THE DESCENDANTS and now NEBRASKA looks like another interesting relationship-centered project from the first clips and information we’ve received, and it’s in black and white.
Now, we’ve got a host of new images for the film that focuses on aging, booze-addled father Woody Grant (Bruce Dern) who makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son David (Will Forte) in order to claim a million dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize. It reads like a lot of fun, with even more moments to learn from and for all the characters involved.
NEBRASKA is released in the UK on December 6th and in the USA on November 22nd.
