The release creeps ever closer to the blockbuster sequel to Suzanne Collins’ dystopian future-set novel series THE HUNGER GAMES. The film franchise centring on bow-carrying heroine Katniss Everdeen and her struggles in surviving her experience in a fight-to-the-death tournament, will return to cinemas screens next month. CATCHING FIRE will continue her Jennifer Lawrence’s journey from peasant victim to empowering symbol to a brewing rebellion as District 12 Tributes (including ‘boyfriend’ Peeta Mellark) begin their Victory Tour. However, the ruthless President Snow plots an all-star Quarter Quell tournament bringing together past champions.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is released in cinemas from the 22nd November and is directed by Francis Lawrence. It co-stars Josh Hutcherson, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Sam Claflin and Jeffrey Wright.
