November 23rd can’t come soon enough. And not just for UK viewers, it seems. BBC Worldwide has now confirmed that at least 75 countries across the world will be broadcasting the eagerly awaited Doctor Who anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor at the exact same moment as the UK broadcast on BBC One.
Furthermore, over 200 cinemas in the UK will broadcast the special live on the big screen, whilst US fans will get a similar opportunity to watch the greatest TV show ever in selected US cinemas. Showrunner Steven Moffat says:

With so many countries gearing up to broadcast the special, this may well be the show’s biggest audience turnout ever. Nothing like this has ever been attempted before by the BBC, lets hope that it pays off in bucket loads.
