The last couple of days has seen the Marvel Studios unleash a wealth of promotional material remind us ‘The God Of Thunder’ is making his return to the big-screen. THOR: THE DARK WORLD is the second feature film in their Phase II collection and here we have the first clip from the sequel directed by ‘Game Of Thrones’ Alan Taylor, who was brought in to replace the original choice Patty Jenkins.
It’s one clip that sees Chris Hemsworth’s goldilocked superhero chatting to sinister sibling Loki (the awesome Tom Hiddelston) about their collective talents needing to save Asgard from the evil Dark Elves who are being led by the ruthless Malekith The Accursed.
THOR: THE DARK WORLD co-stars Natalie Portman, Christopher Eccleston, Stellen Skarsgaard, Jamie Alexander, Christopher Eccleston, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Tadanobu Asano, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins. It’s released in UK cinemas 30th October and the US 8th November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
