Thoughtful & Intriguing Trailer For ‘The Citizen’

THN would like to introduce and share the trailer for THE CITIZEN, a story that revolves around an Arab man who emigrates into New York on September 10th, 2001. Although this could be said to be a controversial movie, it looks more to play on the paranoia and lack of the ‘bigger picture’ of the situation as lead character Ibraham (Khaled Nabawy) as he’s caught up in the fall out of Twin Towers desperation.

I think THE CITIZEN looks brave to question how people react, and what happens under extreme pressures and prejudices. Check out the trailer below for the film directed by Sam Kadi in his first feature and currently on a limited release in the USA. I suspect there may be more worldwide release dates to follow:

THE CITIZEN also co-stars Cary Elwes, Agnes Bruckner, Rizwan Manji and William Atherton.
