The promo campaign for Sony and Screen Gems’ CARRIE remake has ramped recently. We’ve had new stills, featurettes, clips, television spots and an international trailer all surface these past few weeks. All for the contemporary adaptation of Brian DePalma’s classic horror centred on tormented teen outcast-turned-telekinetic torturer Carrie White. Kimberly Pierce is at the helm of the modernised treatment of Stephen King’s celebrated supernatural novel, which has Chloe Grace Moretz lead as the tragic, super-powered female pushed too far on prom night.
This awesome viral video could be the best piece of promotion yet as the customers at a coffee shop witness the wrath of an angry female who just can’t keep a lid on that temper! Take a look…
CARRIE co-stars Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort and Julianne Moore. It is released in the US on the 18th October and the UK 29th November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
