Cameron Crowe’s Untitled Hawaii Project Starring Bradley Cooper & Emma Stone Begins

There’s no denying that I’m a sucker for a Cameron Crowe movie, he seems to find those moments of life in the vein of our very own Richard Curtis but with an American twist. He’s now announced via TheUncool that his as-yet Untitled production is filming in Hawaii and will star Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams with additional rumours of Alec Baldwin and Danny McBride. So I’m already convinced, it’s that simple.

For those of you unfamilar with Crowe, he’s the man behind ALMOST FAMOUS, SAY ANYTHING, JERRY MAGUIRE, VANILLA SKY and more recently the charming, based-on-real-life-story, WE BOUGHT A ZOO. This one is him reworking an older project called DEEP TIKI and sees him team-up (very interestingly) with INTO THE WILD cinematographer Eric Gautier and goes with this official synopsis:

A celebrated military contractor returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him.

So, yeah, it could be another romantic comedy-drama and even though there’s that military undertone, I expect some form of goodness or right decisions to overcome all, well, I can hope right? Sony are looking to release this in 2014 so for the moment, enjoy the clapperboard of truth:
