Horror website ShockTillYouDrop.com recently partnered with The Orchard in a deal to distribute upcoming horror films. One of their first efforts is SOLO, a film in which a brand new camp counselor (something alien to us Brits), must spend 2 nights alone on an uninhabited island as part of her initiation. As you can imagine, the island may not exactly be as deserted as first thought. This will be the debut feature film of director, Isaac Cravit.
Annie Clark stars as the unfortunate Gillian who must battle for survival and sanity. What I really love about this trailer is the mix of traditional slasher tropes and more supernatural elements. I can’t tell which way the film is going to go, or if it will mix the genres for double the fear. I’ll be able to find out on 22nd October, as the film is to be released via ShockTillYouDrop.com and The Orchard’s home entertainment distribution deal which will find the film coming to home video channels and DVD.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
