LFF 2013: Sandra Bullock On The Red Carpet For ‘Gravity’

Gravity_26

If you’ve been monitoring the site over the last few hours or so, you will have found that we’ve posted our review of GRAVITY, the space-set drama directed by Alfonso Cuaron, and starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Our citic John Sharp was in awe of the movie, and gave the film our second 5-star rating of the festival (following CAPTAIN PHILLIPS).

John says:

“I cried, I chuckled, I cowered from bits of shattered satellite hurtling towards my face, and I was constantly in awe of what the director/writer, his actors and the incredible visual effects team have achieved. You will need to hold on to your seat, because if the seemingly impossible camera work doesn’t blow your mind, the testament to the human spirit will swell your heart. Sandra Bullock is amazing and Cuarón deserves to be recognised come awards season because GRAVITY is one of the best films of the year – practically any year.”

John also says that Bullock delivers the performance of her career in the film, which had its gala premiere yesterday evening. We have some footage and some images of Ms. Bullock, director Alfonso Cuaron and producer David Heyman on the red carpet event in London last night below, but do read John’s review over here, and then be sure to see GRAVITY in cinemas from the 8th November. It’s now playing across North America.
