LFF 2013: Labor Day Press Conference & Red Carpet

It has to be one of the most anticipated films of the entire festival. Following the debuts of GRAVITY and before that CAPTAIN PHILLIPS, Jason Reitman’s LABOR DAY is another movie on many people’s must-see lists of the 2013 London Film Festival. While not due out until next year, the film wowed audiences earlier on this evening at a special screening at the Odeon Leicester Square in the heart of London.

The film revolves around depressed single mom Adele, played by Kate Winslet, and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride (Josh Brolin). As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited.

Brolin, Winslet and director Jason Reitman, turned up at a press conference in town earlier today, which was followed by a screening in front of a packed red carpet crowd. We have some images and video footage from earlier tonight, which you can see below.

Check back for a full review of the film over the next couple of days, and be sure to catch the rest of our LFF 2013 coverage right here.
