We now have the favoured names Marvel Studios are looking at to lead ANT-MAN, the first of their Phase III adventures. The two frontrunners for role of scientist Henry ‘Hank’ Pym as expected, have a natural comic touch, which could be perfect as it’s a superhero flick coming from The Cornetto Trilogy director Edgar Wright. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd are said to be the only actors the studio are looking at, at the moment. However, there is talk of one other unknown name could be in the frame!
Meetings with both actors are expected to get underway very soon between the director Wright and studio chief Kevin Feige. Personally, I love both actors but how cool would it be to see Sex Panther-wearing Brian Fantana leading an epic Marvel actioner? I’m in camp Rudd. How about you?
