If you wanted anyone to present an awards ceremony then you would definitely want them have been the stars of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. It’s just been announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that Tina Fey (30 ROCK) and Amy Poehler (PARKS AND RECREATION) will once again host The Golden Globe Awards on 12th January next year…AND…it’s also been revealed that they will host the 2015 Golden Globes as well! They’re going to be busy bees!
Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC reiterated the genius of the SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE alumni, saying:
Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season. We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years.
We’ll have to see if they stand the test of time as our own Ricky Gervais presented the awards for three years in a row before being dropped in favour of the comedic duo.
