Underrated British actor Jason Issacs is joining Keanu Reeves and Willem Dafoe in the main cast of revenge-thriller JOHN WICK. Filming has just begun in New York for the film being helmed by stunt actors-turned-debutant directors Chad Stahelski & David Leitch. Isaacs is best known for his role of Lucias Malfoy in the HARRY POTTER franchise and has also made stand-out turns in THE PARIOT, PETER PAN and acclaimed series BROTHERHOOD.
THE MATRIX superstar Keanu Reeves, soon to be leading martial-arts epics 47 RONIN and MAN OF TAI CHI, will feature as a former contract killer, while the great Oscar-nominee Dafoe plays an old friend who is hired to hunt him down and permanently put him out of business. No specifics on Isaacs’ role but we’ll keep you posted.
