Matt Damon Discusses Intimacy Issues In ‘Behind The Candelabra’ Featurette

Steven Soderbergh’s BEHIND THE CANDELABRA is one 2013 film I really wish I’d seen at the cinema. However, it’s now top of my Christmas wishlist as the film has hit the DVD charts.

Starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, the film focuses on the six-year relationship between performer Liberace and his younger lover Scott Thorson. In the featurette Damon discusses how he wanted to get the perfect portrayal of intimacy, the many costume changes it took to embody Thorson and what it was like to work on a ‘real-life’ set.
