When a trailer shows a close up of a gloved hand turning the ignition, you know the film means business. When it shows heads exploding into fountains of blood, you know it’s going to be extreme. And when the response to the line ‘you’ve got some blood on your shirt’ is ‘it’s not my blood’… man, this film looks intense.
AMERICAN MUSCLE is an exploitation-style thriller directed by Ravi Dhar. Nick Principe stars as mustachioed badass John Falcon who, when released from jail after 10 years of imprisonment, vows to take swift and brutal revenge on everyone who was in some way responsible for his arrest.
