BBC Unveil ’50 Years Of Doctor Who’ Teaser

I had a conversation in the pub the other night with a fellow film critic about the quality of this whole Doctor Who phenomenon. I personally have not got involved in the geekdom/ fanboy lifestyle that inhabits this world surrounding the show, and haven’t seen an episode for many years. I trust the opinions of the person that I spoke to the other night who commented that the show is simply brilliant on so many levels. Add into that the fact that Ben Wheatley is throwing his directing skills into the mix for the start of the next season, and you may see me start to stretch for the iPlayer and give it a go.

Anyway, come 23rd November of this year, the BBC are throwing a bit of a bash to celebrate 50 years of perhaps the BBC’s biggest export with a special 75-minute episode entitled ‘The Day Of The Doctor,’ and the corporation have just released a teaser video for the historic event, which you can check out below.

“The Day of the Doctor” stars Matt Smith, David Tennant, Jenna Coleman plus Billie Piper and John Hurt. It will air around the world on the same day.
