Ruthless Red-Band Trailer Sees Statham On The ‘Homefront’ Warpath

A pretty damn awesome ensemble feature in director Gary Fleder’s revenge-driven thriller HOMEFRONT. Fleder directed one of my all-time favourite mob movies in the underrated THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOUR DEAD and has a knack for assembling some starry casts. Here, Brit beefcake Jason Statham is a man-on-a-mission as an ex-DEA agent, who, along with his 10 year-old daughter, moves to a new location to get over the loss of his wife. Unfortunately, he’s picked the wrong town.

Coming from a screenplay from Sylvester Stallone, HOMEFRONT also has an unhinged James Franco as his hick new meth-cooking nemesis and leads a backwoods clan in making sure the Stath know who’s boss. Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, Clancy Brown, Rachelle Lefevre and Frank Grillo co-star in the film hitting the US 27th November and the UK 6th December.
