57th BFI London Film Festival Winners Announced

THN has been covering the 57th BFI London Film Festival over the last few weeks, bringing you reviews of many of the films screened. The world prestigious event ran from 9th October and closes today and now we can give you the small group of winners at the festival. Without doubt the top honour went to writer/director Pawel Pawlikowski‘s harrowing Poland-set Holocaust drama IDA. You can find the list winners below along with the previously announced special lifetime award for the legendary Sir Christopher Lee.

Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
