With a big-screen blockbuster in the works and set to revive the fortunes of the King of the Apes, Constantin Films have tried to get a jump on Warner Bros.’ live-action film with an animated 3D effort all of their own. TARZAN features motion-captured performances and voices from Kellan Lutz (as the vine-swinging title character created by Edgar Rice Borough’s) and Spencer Locke (as Jane) and is currently playing in German and Russian theatres (although I’m sure each of those countries will have their own superstar dub over).
Here we have the first full trailer from the film directed by Reinhard Klooss from a script by Klooss, Jessica Postigo and Yoni Brenner. It’s released in UK cinemas from the 24th January. No details yet on a US date.
