A new super cool teaser poster has arrived from Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER showing the super soldier Steve Rogers readying for action. The first trailer for the Cap’s solo sequel is expected to play in front of the studios’ other Phase II entry, THOR: THE DARK WORLD, but will first debut online in a couple of days. We caught it over at San Diego Comic Con, along with an action-packed clip in which out hero took on an elevator full of goons, and can attest it’s looking damn special and in keeping with that “political thriller” description by producer Kevin Feige.
After the cataclysmic events inNew York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
UPDATE: We’ve also just added the UK design which offers the title font.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It co-stars Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Robert Redford, Maximiliano Hernandez and hits cinemas 4th April 2014.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

Recently I was really, really low on cash and debts were eating me from all sides! That was UNTIL I decided to make money on the internet! I went to surveymoneymaker dot net, and started filling in surveys for cash, and surely I’ve been far more able to pay my bills!! I’m so glad, I did this! – yWq3
