Drew Barrymore’s production company Flower Films, is obviously not as innocent as it sounds. After all, they’re behind the upcoming horror ANIMAL, which is directed by Brett Simmons. The film features a bunch of victims (because that’s what they are) pursued by a wild predator (not THE Predator). These images, courtesy of EW, show rap icon Eve being dragged away behind a tree. We can only assume that what awaits her is a quiet game of backgammon as well as a large selection of cocktails…that or death. Eve hardly needed convincing to take part in the project, as she states below:
Horror movies are my favorite genre. I’m a real good screamer.
Sounds as though she was cast for her vocal abilities and as a star to off quickly. Perhaps this is Barrymore’s revenge for not lasting more than 10 minutes in SCREAM. The second image shows Paul Iacono and Keke Palmer looking perturbed by something. It’s obvious the film is keeping a few secrets for later on in the publicity game, as we’ll have to wait until 2014 for a release date.
