I’m not doubting her talent as an actress, in fact she was pretty outstanding in FACTORY GIRL, but Sienna Miller appears more in the tabloids than she does on the screen. Since she first caught my eye in Matthew Vaughn’s superb gangster flick LAYER CAKE, it’s difficult to recall many more memorable roles. That may be about to change as she will next be seen in Bennett Miller’s Oscar-baiting true-life drama FOXCATCHER and now she’s off to Berlin to begin shooting chaotic comedy BUSINESS TRIP.
Miller will join Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson and June Diane Raphael in the film being directed by Ken Scott. It’s produced by New Regency from a script by Steve Conrad and follows a struggling Midwestern businessman who assembles a team in a crazy cross-country journey in an effort to win a major contract. She’ll play one Vaughn’s colleagues (and probable love-interest).
