Sue Storm Down To Three For Josh Trank’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Reboot

Invisible Woman

It appears that the previously rumoured list of young actresses battling it out for the role of Susan Storm was correct, as its now been revealed that the role will definitely be filled by one of the three lucky ladies.  Josh Trank will direct 20th Century Fox’s reboot of the FANTASTIC FOUR franchise which is currently penciled in for a March 2015 release date.

It has very recently been rumoured that Michael B. Jordan (CHRONICLE) has signed on to play Johnny Storm AKA the human torch (previously played by Chris-Captain America-Evans) in the upcoming film. Now comes word from the same source that either Margot Robbie, Kate Mara or Saoirse Ronan will be landing the role of Sue Storm AKA the invisible woman, previously played by Jessica Alba in FANTASTIC FOUR and FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER.

Personally I’m voting for Saoirse Ronan to win the role, she’s one of the most talented young actresses in the industry at the moment with the action credentials to go with it after starring in HANNA, THE HOST and BYZANTIUM. Not to mention the fact that she was clearly very interested in playing the Scarlet Witch in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON but for unknown reasons ended up losing the part to Elizabeth Olsen.

As always we’ll update you with any more news of that comes our way.

The story I read is that she turned down the role of the Scarlet Witch. The fact that she has auditioned for Star Wars 7 may have ben the reason for that decision, if true. She gave little away about her SW7 audition, other than to say that she handled a lightsaber during the interview, and that ‘everybody’ was auditioning for the same part as her.

I am all for Saoirse, as Kate Mara gives me the creeps, and I have no idea who Margot Robbie is.
