Video: William Fichtner Talks ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie

We teased you with a few snippets of our interview with William Fichtner a couple of days ago (read that here), but now we’ve got some more to share with the talented actor who can be seen in Amazon’s exclusive TV show Crossing Lines this weekend (more on that here on THN soon).

In the video interview below, conducted by THN’s very own Kat Smith, Fichtner talks up the tone of the film, and what we can expect from his character and the CGI turtles themselves. Jonathan Liebesman is directing the 2014 version with Michael Bay producing and Megan Fox starring as April O’Neill. Whoopi Goldberg, Will Arnett and Danny Woodburn also star.

The film is scheduled for release on the 16th May, 2014 in the UK, and THREE months later in the US on the 8th August.

tokka and rahzar was a stupid idea for the
second act in 1992 epic failure it was
but you can not have a turtles movie without
bebop and rocksteady sorry you just can not
do that to staunch fans of the franchise and
if Stephen speilberg was helming this he would
have gave those legions of fans what they wanted
but a six foot bumbling wolf and a snapping turtle
the big mistake that Hollywood ever made and
it’s like doing ghostbusters without slimer and he-man
without kringer and orko but no bebop and rocksteady
sorry I will not support this it was agonising enough
with 2011 version of fright night without billy cole
this is just an insult to a great franchise from the 80’s
if they are going to do movies like this do it right and why
do every reboot dark all the other attempts apart from batman
    failed .
