He is still one of Hollywood’s hottest properties, and we all really want to see him do the planned INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 movie, as well as another BAD BOYS (maybe), but Will Smith is to tackle an original story next, according to The Wrap. Big Willie is looking to jump aboard SELLING TIME over at 20th Century Fox, a film about a man who trades seven years of his life expectancy for the chance to relive a single day, the worst day of his life.
Dan McDermott, who penned the Shia Labeouf vehicle EAGLE EYE a couple of years ago, is writing the screenplay for this movie, but there is no director as yet attached.
Smith will next be seen in FOCUS opposite Margot Robbie, which is due next summer.
