While on the promotional campaign for R-rated romantic comedy THAT AWKWARD MOMENT, rising young actor Miles Teller has confirmed that he could be involved in Josh Trank’s reboot of superhero adventure FANTASTIC FOUR. He was pressed about those rumoured auditions and talks for the lead of a young Reed Richards in the film set to be directed by the CHRONICLE helmer and if his sequel to young adult adaptation DIVERGENT could rule him out, he coyly responded:
Uh, you know, I don’t know. If that happens, if everything works out, then I will be pretty pumped. But then I’ll also be working for … it’s like seven months out of your year. Which is not a bad problem.
Teller is thought to be Trank’s choice for the younger Mister Fantastic but has competition from the likes of Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harington and 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE actor Jack O’Connell. If he comes aboard, he’s expected to reunite with his THAT AWKWARD MOMENT co-star Michael B. Jordan, who’s nailed on for the role of Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch.
