First Look At ‘Man Of Steel’ Behind-The-Scenes Featurette

It’s hard to deny that Zack Snyder’s first Superman outing was lacking some depth. The film also felt a little rushed because of its monstrously large plot and its humour left something to be desired. That being said, Henry Cavill met the role with a gentle and very alien presence that was perhaps lacked by Christopher Reeve and Brandon Ruth. Cavill also visually suits the part to a T. In fact everything about the visuals – the cinematography, the visual effects and particularly the action sequences – was top notch. The film looks astonishing, astonishing enough to forgive what it lacks in emotional heart. We can only hope that BATMAN VS SUPERMAN will give us the grittiness and tension we desire, but until then here’s a look at the behind-the-scenes featurette from MAN OF STEEL’s upcoming DVD release.
