It’s got a pretty awesome cast, and director Ron Howard isn’t bad either, and he’s just released some photos fresh off the set of his next film IN THE HEART OF THE SEA, based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s novel of the same name.
The movie is based on a pretty incredible true story- in 1819, the whaling ship Essex was rammed by a sperm whale in the South Pacific, forcing the surviving crew to drift for 90 days in three tiny whaleboats. They became so hungry that they resorted to cannibalism.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson, and if I’m honest I don’t think I could eat any of them. Check out some cool photos from the set below:
