Shocking ‘Open Grave’ Trailer Starring Sharlto Copley

Sharlto Copley may have trouble remembering what is going on in this trailer for OPEN GRAVE, but the events that follow don’t look as forgettable. Copley plays a man who awakes in an OPEN GRAVE filled with bodies. He makes his way to a house where he meets a group of armed people just as confused as he is. The trailer contains some shocking imagery and has a huge question mark looming over it. What’s going on? I have no idea, and that’s why it looks so intriguing.

Copley has proven himself a fantastic actor over the last few years, but director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego has given us some interesting but lackluster films in the past, including the dire APOLLO 18. Still, no one can ignore some of the visceral imagery present in this shocking trailer. But then again, I just have a fear of being surrounded by dead bodies or tied up with barbwire.

OPEN GRAVE will be released on VOD platforms from 24th December, with a US theatrical release date set for 3rd January 2014. It stars Sharlto Copley, Thomas Kretschmann, Joseph Morgan, Erin Richards, and Josie Ho.
