Here’s one for the Superman fans, as Warner Bros. has launched a viral website to tie-in with the Blu-ray release of MAN OF STEEL that’s basically a Krypton Wikipedia.
The site, LearnAboutKrypton.com, has plenty of information on Kal-El’s home planet, from weapons to clothing to a comparison with Earth and its sun. There’s also a couple of DC Universe Easter Eggs buried away in there if you know what you’re looking for (and if you don’t, have a look on the culture tab).
Of course, there’s probably not much here that’s new to diehard Superman fans, but if (like me) you’re not that up on Kryptonian history it’s a great place to start – at least until the plethora of Blu-ray extras arrive with the film’s home entertainment release on 2nd December, which you can see below:

· Krypton Decoded – Dylan Sprayberry (Clark Kent, age 13) gives the lowdown on all the amazing Krypton tech, weapons and spaceships featured in “Man of Steel.”
· Planet Krypton – The world’s first exploration of Krypton and its lost society.“Man of Steel” DVD 2-disc Special Edition contains the following special features:

· Krypton Decoded
MAN OF STEEL, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on 2nd December 2013.
