What we’ve seen so far for Paramount Pictures’ action reboot of Tom Clancy’s iconic literary hero JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT, suggests we could be in for an exciting thrill ride. The film is directed by THOR’s Kenneth Branagh, who also portrays the Russian villain going up against a charismatic Chris Pine’s title character.
This original film takes place prior to events of the novel series. Ryan’s young stock broker is working for a billionaire in Moscow before he’s recruited by the CIA to foil his devious employers terrorist plot to crush the US economy.
