The second in Peter Jackson’s trilogy of films adapting the iconic fantasy novel ‘The Hobbit‘ by J.R.R. Tolkien, hits cinemas this December. THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG continues the adventure of the reluctant hairy-footed hero Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys alongside the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. This entry will finally see them come up against the fire-breathing dragon of the sub-title (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch).
