JUR.FORNOW-618x400

Although we’ve yet to have any confirmation from Universal Studios, the cast of dino-tastic sequel JURASSIC WORLD looks to have its cast almost in place. Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are all expected the feature in the film directed by Colin Trevorrow, while David Oyelowo, Edris Elba and Josh Brolin are also rumoured to have been offered roles in the fourth of the Dinosaur-run-amok franchise.

You can now add Wes Anderson stalwart Jason Schwartzman to that potential list as he is also apparently heading to Isla Nubla to take on the likes of T-Rex’s and Triceratops. The actor is perhaps best known for his breakout role in RUSHMORE and Edgar Wright’s cult comic-book caper SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD.

Would you like to see Schwartzman battle to prehistoric beasties? Do let us know. JURASSIC WORLD will be released on 12th June 2015.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
