Go For A ‘Ride Along’ In Hilarious Second Trailer

RIDE ALONG is one of those comedies that sounds like it could easily just not work. In order to gain his girlfriend’s brother’s acceptance, Kevin Hart must go on a RIDE ALONG with said brother in a comedic twist on TRAINING DAY. This second trailer, much like the first, has many hilarious moments and even salvages some of the obvious jokes thanks to some quick one-liners and excellent delivery from Hart and Cube. For example, after a fiery piece of debris lands in the back of Cube’s car, we get the old “It’s probably still good to drive” etc. before it obviously blows up, but thankfully Hart’s charm and likability shines through in his follow-up line. From director Tim Story (BARBERSHOP, FANTASTIC FOUR) this is looking to be a fun piece of cinema.

RIDE ALONG is scheduled for a 7th January 2014 release in the US. It stars Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, John Leguizamo, Bruce McGill, and Tika Sumpter.
