Controversial writer/director Neil LaBute is the man behind the dark and dysfunctional comic drama SOME VELVET MORNING, which stars the always superb Stanley Tucci and rising British beauty Alice Eve.
Tucci plays Fred, a man who arrives at the doorstep of his mistress Velvet after four years apart. Claiming he’s finally left his wife, she rejects his sharp attempts to rekindle a romance long thought lost before things get more than a little ugly.
SOME VELVET MORNING first arrives in the US on VOD from the 10th December before hitting limited theaters via Tribeca Film on the 13th December. No details as yet on a UK release
