I hope the coming season is better than what that portends.

This was somewhat of a disappointment.I really was expecting Paul McGann to regenerate into Christopher Eccleston considering the fact that would have finally filled in that regenerative gap from the doctors 8 and 9 that is currently unknown and the long awaited question would have been finally answered on how Paul McGann regenerated into Christoper Eccleston.
However John hurt’s doctor must be The Doctor version 8.5.Maybe after John’s Doctor AKA the War Doctor dies then he regenerates into Christopher Eccleston.
Yeah I may be overlooking into things but there is that 1 piece of the timeline puzzle that needs placing.

Beyond stupid! Moffat should have quit a long time ago! His stories are beyond half-witted!

Haha, that’s exactly it – in my eyes!
Or…there’s a double timeline and McCann doesn’t crash and then becomes the 9th.
Ah, Who, you cheeky bugger.
