Michael Bay’s break between TRANSFORMERS movies proved to be a surprise success both critically and financially. PAIN & GAIN, starring Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg, followed a trio of hapless workout fanatics who become involved in a kidnapping. The film made great use of its star power and also has the balls to contain a bunch of reprehensible characters. Some great performances and a wonderful visual style from Bay made this a film to remember among all the big budget blockbusters this year, and you can own it on Digital Download from 17th December or on DVD and Blu-ray from 23rd December.
