Trailer For Van Damme Comedy ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ Swings By

Mister Jean Claude Van Damme has returned to the big time over the last few years, and most recently in the last few weeks thanks to that impressive Volvo advert. His dramatic turn in the fantastic JCVD, where he played himself, and high profile villain role in THE EXPENDABLES 2, have also added to his credibility as a charismatic star. Personally I’ve always loved the guy, even when hamming his way through STREET FIGHTER.

Now it looks as though he is trying his hand at comedy as a wild life survival expert taking a team of corporate office folk to a secluded island. Van Damme seems to be playing up his hard-man persona, while surrounded by a number of comedic talents. There’s certainly plenty of chances for hilarity, some of which have made their way into this entertaining trailer. However, it may need a change of title over in the UK, as Dwayne Johnson’s THE RUNDOWN was retitled WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE over here.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE is set for release is scheduled for release next year with a limited release on 7th February in the US. It stars Jean Claude Van Damme, Adam Brody, Megan Boone, Dennis Haysbert, Rob Huebel, Kristen Schaal, and Eric Edelstein.
